Inhaltsangabe

Following the near-destruction of every nation on Earth, a group known as The Harrowed take a stand. Separating themselves from the rest of the crime-filled, war-torn world, they create a society where rules are plentiful and strictly enforced. After spending the first twelve years of their lives in The Camp—a sinister building designed to raise the children of Harrow and force them into being strictly obedient—brothers Brigham and Taylor rejoin their family, finally free. Or so they think. After Taylor gets sent back to The Camp for acts of rebellion, sixteen-year-old Brigham almost loses the will to continue. But through a series of perplexing dreams—of which he is the sole recipient—he discovers that Harrow isn’t what it seems. With the help of his best friends, he sets off to save his brother by penetrating the heart of Harrow and confronting its leaders, who will do whatever it takes to remain in power.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Sam Skidmore was born and raised in the countryside of England. Growing up with far too many siblings to count, he quickly learned the art of hiding. These hours of hiding, usually with a good book and a pad of paper, gave birth to his passion for reading and writing. After moving to the United States, he wrote his first book at the age of 10, complete with giant gumball machines and a pizza with monstrous pepperoni. The inspiration for The Harrowed series came to him during his two years living in southern Florida. He is beyond excited to have a book of his own that doesn’t involve robot monsters and too many plot holes to count. He is grateful for the opportunity to share his stories with the world, and is looking forward to repeating the process many times in the near future. Check out Sam’s blog at www.sjskidmore.blog.com
