In this, his ninth book, the author pulls no punches as he tackles issues ranging from the suppression of free speech on college campuses to the hysterical blather of the #MeToo brigade. He also looks at the invasion of privacy, the surveillance society and various attempts to curb freedom of expression in the Moslem world. The law on rape also gets an airing, along with the failure of the police (who don't emerge smelling of roses) to disclose evidence that might help the defence. And we mustn't forget Kelvin and Katie, both of whom have upset one or two sensitive folk with their views on this and that. There are also interesting essays on Christopher Marlowe and Agatha Christie, who both suffered at the hands of the censor. This controversial and hard-hitting book runs to some 59,000 words and is extremely topical (even the Skripals get a mention). It might be worth noting that one of Keith's previous books was entitled How to be Politically Incorrect. He now urges people to speak out – before it's too late.
