Diag Da (Deagh Dia), Dagda is a name which the ancient Celtic nation used for their creator, God. Ancient Celts appeared and influenced in the current European area from around 5000bc and especially at the area which is currently known as British Isles, you may meet their descendants even nowadays. There isn’t much fact information about their early stages. But plenty of stories that live in the mouths of the people, legends. Stories and storytelling, have been through the ages a part of human socializing. Partly as amusement, something to pass the time in campfires or such. These stories help to pass the information about that time, to a generation to another. Part of these stories have lived and will live long, offering at least half truths about the past to modern people. Approximately in the same time, as the Celts appeared in history, so did the habit to write down those stories, using some sort of marks. This habit helped to preserve these stories. There are not much records written down of the phases of the Celtic nation. This piece however, tells about that time, when things and events were started to be marked down. It tells a story of few Celtic characters. Tells about a time, when magic was part of human’s everyday life and the creatures, which modern people with laughter states as myths, were true. It tells about the battles they had. Good and evil already existed then and like today, the struggle between those two, was happening largely in the minds of human individuals. The piece will lead the reader, in the company of one central character, also to Mesopotamia, Egypt and their cities. Tin-islands, or current England and especially Wales are acting as the main stage for these events. I wish for the reader a pleasant journey among the druids and “mythical creatures” and I wish that after reading the book, the reader will state, paraphrasing the words of one character in the book : For my being and what I have read, I am happy with it.
