Follow Alice and Dave as they run a lemonade stand over the summer. Each week they face new challenges with running a business—from making the perfect tasting lemonade to cutting costs to advertising to finding the best location for their stand. At the end of each week they have to do all the math to see how their business is doing and if they are going to make enough money by the end of the summer to achieve their goals.This book is written as a novel. At the end of each week, the reader will do all the calculations to determine the lemonade stand’s revenue, expenses, and profits. The worksheets leverage a reader’s abilities in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. Every student is different, but the level of math used is generally appropriate for 4th to 8th graders.
