This workbook in Mathematics Grade 6 seeks to develop mastery mathematics skills. The major goal of the authors in writing this workbook is to present, develop critical thinking and problem solving skills, implement discovery and inquiry-based learning, improve cooperative learning, constructivism, impose reflective learning, experiential and situated learning of the grade 6 Elementary School Students (in k to 12 curriculum) in a simple and understandable language. Angles in geometric figures using various properties, attributes of spatial figures, two dimensional representation of a three dimensional solid and identification of nets of cube, prism and pyramid. 5. Circumference and area of a circle, perimeter and area of figures related to square, rectangle, triangle and circle, surface area and volume of rectangular prism and capacity. 6. Real-life situation regarding electric and water consumption, time, rate and speed. 7. Recording, arranging, presenting and interpreting data using tables and circles graphs and understands the meaning of probability. 8. Understanding of constants, variables and algebraic expressions in one variable. It is expected that through this workbook in Grade 6 “Mathematics 6”, mathematics education will be made fruitful for the Grade 6, Elementary School.
