Starched White Linen: Jack-The-Ripper - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Jack the Ripper's reputation hung over London in the 1880s. It still does on the tourist routes of East London. Pamela Bennett's Victorian Novel takes us to a time when her Great Grandparents lived in those same streets. This book pulls together family stories that have been handed down for more than a hundred years. No-one alive knows if these stories are true just as no-one alive knows who Jack the Ripper really was. But this version of the legend uses those old stories as a starting point to tell the tale from one old London family's local knowledge.
