This book explores what it means to be a good supervisor or manager, and demonstrates what can happen if you are not. The stories used to illustrate the principals are all true, and draw from over 30 years of my military service, and some 25 years of my own Government Civilian Service with the U.S. Border Patrol. I began writing this book as a personal tool to maintain my perspective on how to be a good supervisor, as I was being bombarded with bad management decisions. This was critical to maintaining my ability to be professional. As you will soon read, I took a stand against bad management and fought for over ten years to protect my employees, myself and family, from bad management actions. This book contains public record investigative reports from the U.S. Office of Special Council concering the situations I was forced to endure. It is my hope that you will find this both entertaining, and usefull in your job or career.
