Rob Brown grew up near historic Stirling in the shadow of the Ochil Hills in Central Scotland's, Forth Valley. After a successful professional career in healthcare, he decided to focus on his love of writing. A former marathon runner and keen cyclist, he loves all outdoor pursuits. Despite suffering severe injuries in an accident at the turn of the century, he recovered and still enjoys a very active life with his wife and dog, Dougie. He has two grown up children. A lover of all music, he plays both guitar and soprano sax badly
