Michael K. Pomphrey is a filmmaker, photographer, designer, and educator. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Rehabilitative Services and a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling, both from the University of Northern Colorado. After serving in many capacities within the mental health and disability services field, Michael began spending his free time taking classes at the Colorado Film School. His new found love of film, photography and writing led him to complete a Fellowship at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Upon receipt of a Masters of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from AFI, Michael ultimately found himself in Chicago, where he re-connected with his now wife and worked at Columbia College. It was during his first two years in Chicago that The Experience Project: Chicago was completed. Michael and his wife Katie now live in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he has recently completed The Experience Project: Colorado Springs Part 1.
