Thomas Kingsley Troupe is the author of a big ol' pile of books for kids. He's written about everything from ghosts to Bigfoot to 3rd grade werewolves. He even wrote a book about dirt. When he's not writing or reading, he investigates the strange and spooky as part of the Twin Cities Paranormal Society. Thomas lives in Woodbury, Minnesota with his two sons.

Rea Zhai is an illustrator with a passion for drawing, music, and cats. She finds inspiration for her work in the people she meets, the places she visits, and the songs she loves. When Rea's not illustrating, she's expressing her creativity by playing bass with a small blues band. A native of China, she currently lives in Beijing with her husband and their three charismatic cats.
