Eric Oberst lives in South Florida with his wife, two children, and their age-old friend and wise companion, Ace – a one of a kind yellow Labrador retriever. You couldn’t ask for a better crew. The Adventures of Caroline was meant to be a series starting with the Time Machine, and although Eric has authored several pieces of work throughout his life, this is the first book he has published. The plan is to use the first book as a platform to launch many more volumes in the series. Writing is seldom anyone’s primary profession unless it can support itself. However, the reward is having the time to work on a story with your children, and experience the excitement they get as the project materializes into actual words and illustrations on real pages that they can hold in their hands. The catalyst for a healthy imagination must start somewhere, and my hope is that they will get much more out of this project than I put into it.
