Dr. Billy Bishop practiced pediatric dentistry for thirty-six years. During this period he served as President of the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and as President of the University of Alabama Dental Alumni Association. He has held part-time clinical appointments at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Reading—particularly Southern Literature—and bass fishing are his hobbies. Along with his wife, he lives in Birmingham where they reared their three daughters. Saturday Mornings is his first book.
