Concentrating on the background and "call experience" of three biblical characters: the child Samuel, Mary, the mother of Jesus, and the prophet Isaiah. Here Am I examines their pivotal, formative experiences and looks at what we can learn from them about our own unique call and disciplehood. Each chapter ends with a set of questions that highlight the theme of that chapter and encourages individual reflection and group discussion.
