Daniel Sanchez—Leonetti was born in Trinidad Colorado, and graduated from Denver University in 1979 with a degree in English Honors. He entered a career in Journalism and was a Sports Editor and a feature writer for newspapers and magazines in the American Southwest. Recently, he left Journalism to write screenplays and novels. He has completed two novels and seven screenplays. He is currently working on a pair of epic historical novels about his beloved Southeastern Colorado.
