The Case of the Pretty Reflection is one of the first books to be introduced by Through the Keyhole books. Mary JoynerStoddard does an excellent job of telling stories with rhythm and rhyme. This particular story is simple and sweet. We all have seen a child trying to get to the other side of the mirror. The pretty reflection character has a short investigation. Of course, she solves the mystery. I see a small face with a cute little nose. That could be me, don't you suppose? I'm sure it's a girl in this shiny reflection, with eyes that sparkle and a creamy complexion. Just like Columbo, I'll do some detecting So I can find out whose face is reflecting. With one eyebrow raised, I continue to ponder. There may be a hint in the room over yonder. This is a fun little book for your child to enjoy again and again.
