Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Sam L. Pfiester served two tours in Vietnam, the second as senior advisor to a Vietnamese river patrol group along the Cambodian border. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Vietnam Service Medal, First Class. The Perfect War (italicize) is based on his experiences. He has also written The Golden Lane: Faja de Oro about the Tampico Oil Boom 1909-14. He and his wife have three children and live in Georgetown, Texas.
