Her oldest son has earned his B.S. degree and graduated from college Magna Cum Laude and her other son is still in college. Sandy is the owner of Learning Abled Kids, L.L.C. She has completed Orton-Gillingham Multisensory training (for teaching reading to children with dyslexia), Special Education Advocacy training, Charter School Organization and Concept Development Training, is a Lifetime Member of Phi Kappa Phi Academic Honor Society, and an educational change advocate.
