Psychodrome: Where the ultimate fantasy meets the ultimate reality.

Fresh out of the service, Arkady O'Toole decides to celebrate his freedom with a high-rolling gambling spree on the glittering Ginza Strip of Tokyo. Looking for quick cash and a good time, he pulls up a chair at a high-stakes poker table with some incredibly heavy players.

Then, he makes the most dangerous mistake of his life: He wins.

The powerful man he takes down for an absolute fortune turns out to be a ruthless warlord of the Yakuza -- and the syndicate doesn't take kindly to losing. Desperate to escape a swift and bloody vengeance, Arkay flees into the only place the syndicates can't easily reach: Psychodrome.

As the universe's most popular, mind-linking reality game show, Psychodrome plugs the home audience directly into the raw thoughts and senses of its players. Competitors are dropped into an unforgiving, intergalactic scavenger hunt where the lines between computer-generated fiction and cold reality completely blur.

Arkady enters the simulation hoping to dodge real-world bullets and clean up on prize money, but his past refuses to stay behind, With ninja assassins infiltrating the game matrix and the arena itself engineered to kill, Arkady and his mismatched teammates are about to learn a brutal truth: if the Psychodrome simulation doesn't destroy them, reality absolutely will.
