Ingrid Johnson, MA, is a Full Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where she has been Chair and a member of the Textile Development and Marketing Department as well as acting vice president for academic affairs for the institution and acting chair of the Home Products Department. She holds a BS in Textile Design from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science and a MA in Textiles from North Carolina State University. With more than 30 years of experience in the textile industry, Johnson has lectured both in the United States and internationally and is frequently sought by the media to offer commentary on textiles and industry trends, including Money Line with Lou Dobbs, the Wall Street Journal, Wired, and Glamour magazines, NPR, Martha Stewart Radio and others. She is a member of International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA).

Ajoy K. Sarkar, Ph.D., teaches textile development and marketing at Fashion Institute of Technology, USA. He has been published in "The Journal of the Textile Institute "and Associate Editor for Textiles/Fiber and Polymer Science for "Clothing and Textiles Research Journal". He is Vice-Chair Pro Tem of the American Associate of Textile Chemists and Colorists and a member of the International Textile and Apparel Association.
