Jane E. Ries is a juggler of various creative endeavors, including music, graphic design, writing, illustrating, urban gardening, and vegetarian cooking. She has been deeply influenced by her mother and Dr. Seuss who fostered a love for reading, writing, and whimsy. Though she dreams of being a stand-up comedian, she decided that creating children’s books is more her style. Jane lives in Ohio and works at the best library in the nation.
