It is disappointing to observe those who received powerful ministry from the Lord, but are sucked back into old patterns of behavior as their minds return to captivity. An old proverb says: “a pig will return to its wallow” (2 Peter 2:22), but people aren’t pigs! Still, demons are like pigs that seek rest in whatever yucky stuff people hang onto. Some people fall back into damaging behaviors. Demons, seeing that the house is swept clean, come back and bring others with them. I understand why some pastors have given up on deliverance ministry because of what happens to those who don’t continue the fight once they receive deliverance ministry. As I will explain within the pages of this book; deep healing and deliverance may take us to the core of our demonization and pain. But once we get to the inner core, we need to deal with iniquities and faults that reside there the way the Bible tells us to. We can minister healing to inner wounds and cast out demons, but the Bible way of dealing with iniquities and faults is true confession and the corresponding prayers of the righteous for healing. This book is the product of my own personal study of how we can deal with specific “rotten inner cores” through confession and prayer and actually be healed of root problems deep within.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Douglas Carr is the founder of Doug Carr Freedom Ministries and Lead Pastor of His House Church in Sturgis, Michigan. There was a season in the late 1980’s that Doug was about ready to give up on his Christian walk. Even though he had been saved for fifteen years and in ministry for fourteen years, he discovered that he not only lacked the answers that others needed -- he also lacked them for himself. He did leave the ministry for five years and desperately searched for satisfying answers to the problems that he and his family faced. Even though Doug was tempted to give up on the Lord, God never gave up on him. God’s journey led him to disappointing experiences with institutional churches but also led him to people and groups that walked in the power, anointing and revelation that he so desperately longed for. One group challenged him to a forty day fast. During that fast he was led to complete his Masters and Doctorate at Wagner Leadership Institute. During classes there he connected with Barbara Yoder and Breakthrough Apostolic Ministries Network. Later he and Pamela joined the International Society of Deliverance Ministries. As Doug and his wife Pamela discovered what Jesus wants His people and His Church to be, they began leading others in deeper levels of worship, intercession and freedom. Jesus has honed Doug’s special focus to equipping churches in deep healing and deliverance. His Free Indeed Basic and Advanced Seminars set people free and teach them to set others free.
