John Bolinger was born and raised in Indiana, where he attended Ball State University and Purdue University receiving his BA and MA from those schools before teaching French and English for thirty-five years at Morton High School in Hammond. He then moved to Colorado. Now retired, John spends his winters in Pompano Beach, Florida. His published books include, All My Lazy Rivers, and Indiana Childhood, Come on, Fluffy, This Ain't No Ballet, a Novel on Coming of Age, Come September, Journey of High School Teacher, Hodgepodge, a Feast for Mind and Spirit, Mum's the Word: Secrets of a Family, and Growing Old in America: Notes from a Codger.
