Celebrate life with delicious food in Cindy R. Kelley’s uplifting new cookbook, La Vida Es Buena: Life is Good.
A delightful addition to any kitchen, this is not just a list of recipes—it is a genuine glimpse into the heart and mind of a self-trained chef who discovered the joys of life through the art of cooking.
Having grown used to cooking through challenging and unexpected surprises, Kelley has learned a thing or two about making the best of the ingredients on hand. This experience has led to the unique, adventurous culinary style that reflects her ever-present “life is good” philosophy.
Readers will learn how to make everything from scalloped corn pudding and green chili chicken enchiladas to bread pudding with whiskey sauce and cast-iron skillet apple pie.
From breakfast and brunch to dinner and dessert, Kelley encourages amateur cooks to take chances, step outside their comfort zones, and embrace the cooking lifestyle. Readers will even learn creative ways to transform leftovers into brand new meals that the whole family will love.
La Vida Es Buena: Life is Good will encourage and inspire even the most untrained cooks to celebrate life, family, and fun through food!
