In a series of essays, this book makes bold conclusions on many exciting and controversial topics, such as the possibility of heresy in the documents of the Second Vatican Council, the Evolution hoax, Tradition vs. Modernism in the Catholic Church, and the alleged apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Medjugorje. Also discussed are the Tribulation and End Times, whether everyone is saved, the importance of the mystic Luisa Piccarreta, and other matters. These articles tackle issues and offer solutions to many hot-button topics that impact the contemporary church. Most of the chapters are based on timely articles that have been published in respected Catholic periodicals and journals, and are now conveniently presented to the discerning reader all in one place. While the theology of some of the chapters might be slow going, the book is not large (123 pages), and is priced accordingly.

�ber die Autorin bzw. den Autor

As devotee of Padre Pio and St. Francis of Assisi, Frank Rega has been a Third Order (Secular) Franciscan for over 25 years. His first book, Padre Pio and America, was published by TAN Books, as well as his second book, St. Francis of Assisi and the Conversion of the Muslims. He has recently released a second book about Padre Pio, has published a booklet on the Greatest Catholic President - Garcia Moreno of Ecuador, and has written many articles for Catholic periodicals. He is currently working on volume three of his spiritual biography of the mystic Luisa Piccarreta. He was founder of a large online Padre Pio prayer and discussion group. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus. His web sites and blog can be found via www.frankrega.com. A Henry Rutgers Scholar and Phi Beta Kappa at Rutgers University, Mr. Rega also studied at Yale University's Institute of Human Relations on a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship. Until his retirement he was last employed by Compuware Corp. as a software engineer on projects for NASA and the Department of Homeland Security.
