I am an author, a former teacher, guidance counselor, small business owner and current parent and grandparent. My true love of writing is to explain the complexities of life to children in both picture books and chapter books. Many things adults take for granted are mysterious to children. My stories demonstrate the advantages of cooperation and sharing. In pictures and words, I endeavor to bring a greater understanding of issues children face such as domestic abuse, bullying, diabetes, the Internet and interpersonal relationships.
