A group of cut out paper alphabet letters find themselves left behind in a box by some children who had been playing with them. The children go off somewhere and the letters decide they want to go somewhere, too. They work on a plan to go somewhere but they find out that their plan isn't quite working. Just as they are about to give up on getting somewhere, a little boy comes along. The little boy has an idea for helping them and he cleverly gets them from nowhere to somewhere. The things the letters learn about themselves on their journey from nowhere to somewhere are lessons for everyone. Interest level: Ages 6-8. Readability: Primary grades
