Frieda Maclear was born and raised in Canada in a Christian home. At an early age, Frieda knew that she was called to missions and ministry. Upon graduating from Briercrest Bible College, Frieda spent five years working with a mission in Panama, teaching in a Bible School and doing local evangelism. After meeting and wedding her husband Jerry, Frieda attended Portland State University to complete a BA in education; later, she received her Masters of Divinity from Denver Seminary. She spent a number of years teaching in Christian schools; then became Academic Dean of Word to the World College. She has been on staff at Orchard Road Christian Center as Missions Pastor for over 30 years and is committed to her call of helping people understand and practice Biblical truth. Frieda and Jerry live in Colorado and have three daughters and four grandchildren
