Where magic and martial arts converge!
The gong rang out around the arena. Allek shuffled his feet as he mirrored the orbital motion of his assailant. Shiah sent another swift kick at his kidney. This time Allek grabbed her soft-booted foot by the ankle, and pulled his adversary's other leg out from underneath of her. The gong's ring sailed out to mingle with the chill of the evening air and cheers of the audience. The two apprentices made their way back to the heart of the arena.
At the tone, the girl drew her hands into her chest and then shoved them out at Allek accompanied by a strident battle cry. A powerful torrent of water struck him right in between his thick pecs and knocked him on his backside. Allek strode back to the center ringing wet from Shiah's display of Water Symbiotics. The shrub over her left shoulder shriveled and several leaves fell to the turf.
"Taking it up a notch, eh?" he asked.
"Think you can keep up, warrior?"
