I began writing as a child and cut my teeth on Edgar Allan Poe, Louisa May Alcott, and Alexandre Dumas. Even then I was a warped romantic and found a kinky passion in Poe's writing. I moved on to Jude Deveraux, Judith McNaught, and Bertrice Small. As my life experience grew so did my reading tastes and I found I loved the authors who pushed the romantic envelope; Mary Balogh's A Precious Jewel comes to mind. I love the outdoors and have hiked the Grand Canyon three times. Gardening continues to be my muse and listening to my pond's waterfall sets the mood for day dreaming which easily turns to writing.
