Paul Lansky's Springs for percussion quartet challenges the performers to work up kinetic energy through pattern repetition and to spring into action. Along with traditional drums, Lansky writes this piece requiring three toys are used to perform this piece, and the type of toy that each performer uses is their choice, making every performance of this work a new and exciting experience.
