One of the pioneers in adapting the application of design for assembly, Sandy founded his consulting firm, Munro & Associates, Inc., in 1988 and developed the Lean Design® process. These principles were developed to help North American manufacturers harness the power of concurrent engineering to reach new levels of global competitiveness.
