Dr. Mike White is a general internist who lives in Hagerstown Maryland. His professional career has addressed private practice, academic medicine, departmental leadership, medical education, hospital administration and healthcare consulting. He is the author of Unsafe to Safe — An Impatient Proposal for Safe Patient-centered Care. A third book (working title Letters to an Aspiring Physician) with a goal of encourage the young person aspiring to a career in medicine to courageously pursue that dream is nearing completion. Dr. White and his wife Jackie live along Donald Ross’ Fountain Head Country Club in Hagerstown Maryland. They are the parents and grandparents of champion golfers. Each season Dr. White strives to be the senior club champion. To date, he has yet to once play his usual game.
