The Basic Bible Course - Softcover

I wrote The Basic Bible Course in the early 1960s to train all my church members but especially all my volunteer teachers in a basic overall knowledge of the Bible, and usually took six months of Sunday evenings to complete it, which means about twenty-hours of class work. I have also found that many pastors know certain sections of the Bible, but do not know the contents of every book of the Bible, and do not have a comprehension of the Bible as a whole. Gwin Turner’s love, appreciation and thirst for knowledge was insatiable and evident to all who knew him. This was especially true and obvious in coming to know God and His Word! He was a very studious man and had a deep burning desire to know TheWord and to ‘rightly divide the Word of God’ to his people. He was intent on his preparation with a burning desire to be assured what he gave out was exact and correct, therefore he diligently searched the Hebrew and Greek to be sure he knew what the Word said in the language in which it was originally written. He had a special anointing for understanding The Word of God and a very special ability to make it plain and understandable to the people as he gave it out. He was a very gifted man in explaining and teaching God’s Word and truths!
