Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

I was born amid the turmoil of World War II Displaced from our home in Prussia and settled in Hamburg, Germany. After my school years I studied music in Hamburg and qualified as Orchestral Musician. Migrated to Australia in 1959, married in 1960 and worked as a freelance musician in Melbourne and Sydney. Part-time Lecturer in Music at the University of Western Sydney for some years before moving to my current residency in Canberra where I worked as a School teacher in Music and German until I retired. I have composed a few published compositions for school bands and for educational purposes. Additionally I have written several classical Sonatas for various instruments.
