Written by an internationally renowned radiologist from a leading UK institute, this book covers the entire musculoskeletal system and all conditions common and rare. Heavily illustrated with high-quality images, the information is presented in an easy to digest bullet-point format, providing the radiologist with all the information required to make an informed diagnosis in the clinical setting, This is particularly valuable for those radiologists in large hospitals that are required to make reports for a wide variety of MSK patients.
The book is divided anatomically. Each chapter begins with a section on technical considerations and is subdivided into smaller areas, with descriptions and pictures of the normal anatomy followed by a comprehensive, illustrated listing of the various pathologies, DDX listing, and extensive referencing. This new edition offers a new VitalSource package allowing for image downloads and videos to aid diagnoses. Radiologists are extremely tech-adept and large users of online resources so this improvement is an important update for the title.
For the second edition Dr Saifuddin is joined by two of his team members. Key references are marked in the reference lists but otherwise the style of the text remains broadly the same. Comprehensive and user-friendly in its approach, Musculoskeletal MRI will provide every radiologist, both consultant and trainee, with increased confidence in their reporting.Über den Autor:
