In-context glossaries within each lesson and a general glossary at the end have been added, but the selections are not translated. Both Akbar Kargar and Jonaid Sharif are published authors in Pashto. Kargar is a graduate of Kabul University, was intimately involved in cultural and scholarly activities during the 80's in Afghanistan and ever since in the UK. He has two novels and many books and articles in criticism to his credit. Kargar currently teaches Pashto in the UK. Jonaid sharif is a graduate of the American University of Beirut, University of Iowa, and the University of Louisiana, has published poetry and criticism in Pashto and Dari. He teaches literature and cultural studies in the US.
