ABOUT THE AUTHOR James Plummer was born on a small farm in Georgia and – at the age of 12 – was moved to Brooklyn, New York where he attended Public School. Upon graduation from Brooklyn’s Boys High School, Jim joined the U.S. Air Force where he served honorably for 26 years. His overseas assignments included tours of duty in Germany, Libya and Vietnam. While in the Air Force, Jim earned both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Business Management. He then turned to university teaching where he taught for The University of Maryland, City University of Chicago, Saint Leo University and Hampton University. Jim is married and is the father of two sons and a daughter. Jim and his wife, Mary, live in Hampton, Virginia.
