C.J. Edmondson spent most of her childhood in Albany, GA. She married her friend from middle school, Aaron Edmondson, Jr. She is “Stepmom” to their only child, Solomon, the co-author and illustrator of War of Sweets. C.J. enjoys traveling to other states and countries, seeing the sites, and eating the food. Solomon Edmondson is the mastermind behind the original War of Sweets story which he wrote in sixth grade. Solomon is a high school honor student and percussionist in the marching and concert bands. He actively participates with the Youth Ministry at church. Solomon enjoys drawing, dancing, traveling, playing video games, listening to music, reading good books, surfing the internet, and interacting with friends and family.
