Biografía del autor:

Philip K. Dick was born in 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. Most of his published work belongs to the science fiction genre, which explore themes in sociology, politics, metaphysics and theology particularly in his later writings. Most of his stories are not set in the real world, because the real world does not meet his standards. Rather, these stories are set in parallel universes, usually dominated by authoritarian governments or monopolistic corporations. When Dick wrote, he wondered out loud if the universe is even real, and if he and the people around him were even real. He calls himself an "acosmic panentheist", which means that he believes that the universe is merely an extension of God. He wrote about the people he loved and placed them in the unique alternate worlds that his mind had created. He passed away and left us in 1982. He buried next to his twin sister named Jane
