There are three Fairies who live at the end of Cassy Kindly's garden. Cassy Kindly is a modern day Fairy Godmother and she is called Cassy Kindly because she never knew her last name, but she is very kind! The Fairies are called Rosey, Daisy and Florrie. They also have a brother called Teddy and he is an Angel-Fairy. He sleeps on the clouds now as he was poorly for a long time and decided to spend time with the angels instead. He watches his sisters whilst sitting on the clouds and they make him laugh very much (even when they are being naughty). Rosey, Daisy and Florrie are busy causing chaos on the run up to Christmas. Rosey is the 'removal' fairy, Daisy is the 'dropsey' fairy and Florrie is the 'forgetful' fairy. They make us think that we are going slightly bonkers by moving, dropping and forgetting things. This is how they cause chaos. Except that Cassy finds out what they have been up to and she takes them to see Santa Claus to apologise for all of their chaos. Santa thinks about what they have done and although they have been naughty, he loves them all very much indeed. With a twinkle in his eyes he comes up with a great plan of how to rescue Christmas from disaster. Find out all about Rudolph's extra red and very hot nose; how the monkies from the local zoo get very cheeky; how the Giraffe's get very nosey and how the Hyenas are in hysterics laughing at the chaos created in the village square.
Biografía del autor
The Cassy Kindly Adventures were created based on my experiences of people who have been kind to me from child-hood to the present day. I consider these people to be my Fairy Godmothers and Fairy Godfathers. From my early child-hood there was always somebody close by to help, encourage and nurture me. Bereavement, being bullied, having trouble learning, learning challenges, dyslexia etc, feeling sad, lonely and missing a parent or a sibling, are emotions that unfortunately some children have to cope with too soon. These adventures are for all children (young and not so young) and are intended in help them learn to cope with some of life's challenges that might come their way. They are to make children laugh, learn and to understand that just because they might have had a tough start in life, or had to cope with sad things, that life does gets happier, more fun and full of adventure, in time. The adventures are also a recognition of all of the lovely people in our lives who become our Fairy Godmothers and Godfathers.
