Camille Hollander is struggling to keep her family fed and safe during the last years of the Civil War. Can she leave the only home she’s ever known to be with the man she loves?

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Fran McNabb grew up along the beaches and islands of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. On the Crest of a Wave takes place on Ship Island, a locale which became an important part of her life. The island fort, which housed Confederate POWs during the Civil War, once was her playground and even a place of refuge during a storm. Now tourists flock to Mississippi to visit this structure. Fran received both her B.S. and her M.E. in English from the University of Southern Mississippi. She taught English and journalism and now enjoys presenting writing workshops. On the Crest of a Wave is Ms. McNabb’s third book. A Light in the Dark and Once in a Half Moon are also available.
