Sara Latta has been writing about science and scientists for over 25 years, covering everything from microbes to volcanoes. Her book “Ice Scientist: Careers in the Frozen Antarctic,” was named an NSTA-CBC Outstanding Science Trade Book for Students. She lives in New York City with her husband and her dog, Count Basie.
