The diary opens at Southampton Le Havre on 11 July 1917. 1917 is spent at Dranoutre, Reninghelst, Ouderdom, Westoutre and Oudezeele. 1918 at Esmery-Hallon, Marizele, Reninghelst, Fretoy and Douchy. It closes at Douchy on 28 February 1918. Dranoutre is where it spent longest, 85 days across three separate stays, including a single unbroken stay of 61.
