Full colour facsimile reprint of the original First World War, War Office war diary of the 24 Battalion, Machine Gun Corps, Divisional Troops, 24th Division, covering March 1918 to May 1919 across 136 pages. It names 45 places across 64 dated entries. Alongside the daily entries the volume carries five maps. The diary opens at Devise on 5 March 1918. 1918 is spent at Les Brebis, Feignes, Fosse 11, Sameon and Conteville. 1919 at Tournai, Marquain and The D.A.G. 3rd Echelon. It closes at Marquain on 30 May 1919. Les Brebis is where it spent longest, 123 days across four separate stays, it came back to Tournai seven separate times, and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 32 days at Feignes. In 1918 it is also recorded at Vraignes, Brie, Lihons, Puzeau, Warvillers, Bois De Senecat, Thezy Glimont, Bois-De Centelles, Saleux and St Valery.
