The diary opens at Bluff on 14 February 1916. 1916 is the most travelled year, 49 places against 22 in the next busiest, and is spent at Armentieres, Soues, Bluff, Petit Difques and Reninghelst. 1917 is spent at Oppy, Beaudricourt To Y.
