Full colour facsimile reprint of the original First World War, War Office war diary of the 7 Light Armoured Battery, Divisional Troops, 3rd Cavalry Division, covering July 1916 to June 1917 across 19 pages. It names 34 places across 41 dated entries. The diary opens at Corbie on 1 July 1916. 1916 is spent at Merlimont Plage, Coupelle Neuve, Wailly Beaucamp, Dadurs and Corbie. 1917 is the most travelled year, 23 places against 17 in the next busiest, and is spent at Merlimont Plage, Flamicourt, Hamel, Estrees-Les-Crecy and Fosseux. It closes at Hamel on 29 June 1917. Merlimont Plage is where it spent longest, 169 days, including a single unbroken stay of 105 and it came back to Arras three separate times. Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Bronfay Farm.
