Maggie Inchley completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and taught in schools in and around London. In 2005 she took a Diploma in Theatre Directing at Mountview Academy, and has directed and developed new plays for the stage and radio since then. At Birkbeck, University of London, she did an MA in Modern Literature and Drama, and then a PhD, completing that in 2011. After teaching at Birkbeck and the University of Surrey, in 2013 she came to Queen Mary University of London as a Lecturer in Performance.
