The Victoria Cross and George Cross Association represents all living holders of the Victoria Cross and George Cross. The Victoria Cross is the highest military decoration awarded for valour 'in the face of the enemy' to members of the armed forces. The George Cross is awarded to those who have displayed the greatest heroism or the most conspicuous courage whilst in extreme danger.
