Hiroshima - Softcover

"Hiroshima" is the title of a magazine article written by Pulitzer winner John Hersey that appeared in The New Yorker's issue for August 31, 1946, one year after the United States dropped an atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima, Japan, at 8:15 a.m., August 6, 1945. The article, which was soon made into a book, describes the events after the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in detail, focusing on the accounts of six individuals.
