ODYSSEY of the Seven Seas - Softcover

"ODYSSEY of the Seven Seas" is the English translation of "ARMENIZONTAS". It also describes memoirs of its author, Athan Galanis, during the war and occupation of Greece by Italian-Germans. It chronicals his adventures and experiences during the years he traversed the seven seas in calm and rogue waves, as well as his shipping activities in all New England seaports. Additionally, it includes a brief summary of significant family events.

Athan E. Galanis traveled as a navigation officer in all the ranks of captainship, on Freighters, Ocean Liners, and Supertankers. He studied at Northeastern University and graduated with a degree in business administration. He established his shipping agancy, "Paralia Corporation", which he managed for 29 years. He resides with his wife Dorothy in Newton, MA. He is a founding member of Evoikos Society of Boston, past executive board member of the Federation of Helenic-American Societies of N.E. and a member of AHEPA.
